Over 20 years filming underwater for international broadcast, documentary and commercial productions.
The son of an artist and a competitive swimmer in his youth, Mark grew up at home in the water. After studying Television Production, he qualified as an HSE Commercial Diver in 2003, combining a creative eye with the technical skill to film in demanding conditions. From tropical seas and open ocean to cold water and rivers, he brings adaptability and a storyteller’s instinct to every location.
Jago: A Life Underwater, which Mark shot underwater, won the Grand Teton Award (Best in Show) at Jackson Hole in 2015, and its cinematography won a Panda Award at Wildscreen in 2016.
